SPEC IPL Auction 2026, organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-CELL), St. Peter’s Engineering College, was successfully conducted on 08 August 2026 at T-19, bringing together students in an engaging IPL-inspired competitive environment that promoted cricket knowledge, strategic thinking, decision-making, teamwork, and resource management. The event received an enthusiastic response, with 40 teams registering and competing in two rounds. Round 1 featured an IPL Quiz consisting of 25 multiple-choice questions, with 10 question sets randomly allotted to the participating teams; the highest-scoring team from each set qualified for Round 2. The second round featured a Mock IPL Auction, where the 10 shortlisted teams participated in a competitive bidding process with a ₹150 crore purse, requiring them to develop effective strategies, manage resources, and make calculated decisions while competing for players.
