Workshop on "Programming with Scilab

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, St. Peter's Engineering College (Autonomous), organized a two-day Workshop on "Programming with SCILAB" on 31 July 2026 and 01 August 2026 at G51 for II Year I Semester EEE students. The objective of the workshop was to provide students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in scientific programming using SCILAB for engineering applications. The sessions were conducted by Mr. A. Ravi Kumar and Mr. V. Pandurangachari, who explained SCILAB fundamentals, programming concepts, conditional statements, loops, functions, and real-time engineering applications. Students actively participated in hands-on coding exercises and interactive discussions. The workshop significantly enhanced students' programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills while improving their confidence in using SCILAB for engineering computations.
